Artwork Requirements

The follwoing is a list of requirements for users wanting to produce there own artwork for Drawcard Business Cards

Size of the Card

Area for Business card

The trim size of a business card is 88 x 53mm allow 1mm bleed all round no larger than 90 x 55mm.

All Text must be contained within an area no larger than 82 x 47mm.

If text graphics extend outside the image area and are cropped in the final trimming Style will accept NO responsibility

Software requirements

Style can accept and can utilise artwork in the following formats:~

Macintosh:

Illustrator
Freehand
Corel Draw
Photoshop

up to version 8
up to version 8
up to version 8
up to version 5

IBM/PC:

Illustrator
Freehand
Corel Draw
Photoshop

up to version 8
up to version 8
up to version 8
up to version 5

No other format is acceptable for Drawcards
Style cannot accept for Drawacards artwork supplied in Pagemaker, Quark Express, Publisher, Microsoft Word, or any other graphics or page-layout software not listed above.

Scanned Images

When supplying scanned images for use on a Business Card please ensure that:~

  1. The scanned image is an EPS or TIFF file
  2. The colours are or have been converted to CMYK
  3. The scanned image is the actual size it will be printed at
  4. The scanned image is saved at a minimum of 300 DPI(Dots per Inch)

Typefaces/Fonts

When supplying Artwork for use on a Business Card please ensure that ALL founts used have been included with the job (both Sceen and Printer Fonts) or alternatively convert all fonts to "curves" or "outlines"
