Unlike booklets, flyers and pamphlets, which are often distributed to a targeted market, these flexible advertising products are designed to capture mobile viewers and attract new business. When designing posters, we understand how important it is to capture people's attention, triggering the viewer to act. Our experienced designers have been successfully producing posters for our customers for more than 10 years and have found that the principal of "less is more" works in poster design.

Whatever your type of business or poster requirements, Style has a range of poster options for you - from black & white to colour, printed on a range of backgrounds and materials for many purposes, including indoor and outdoor use. We understand the complexities of printing, drying, applying and mounting full colour posters.

Style can also organise whatever mounting or laminating you require - from standard gloss laminate to more exotic materials, such as peel-back self-adhesive laminate, foam core or board mounting.

Most of our poster work is carried out on our Roland Inkjet Printer & Plotter. This monster printer will get your ideas across on its 1.3m roll in full colour at 1200dpi. The Roland is designed for large-format full-colour indoor and outdoor signage and can print on a range of surfaces for different purposes. It features four-colour printing and a high 1200dpi resolution for excellent photographic reproduction. Roland is the only brand where both die cutting of any shape as well as the full-colour water and uv-resistant print can be achieved on the one machine - Roland has the patent for this and no other machine in the world can boast both these features.

What does it cost?

To answer this question we first need to ask you a few questions:

• What is the purpose, indoor or outdoor?
• Do you have the design, and if so, in what format?
• What size do you want? - standard sizes or customised?
• What material do you want to print on?

How long does it take?

In most cases we can turn around a poster for you in less than 24 hours. If you need it in a hurry we can also offer you an express service within a few hours - just call us to discuss your requirements.

Please note that as poster production is an inkjet process we still need time to allow the inks to dry properly. And some finishing options require more time. For example, matte lamination requires three to four days.

What stocks (paper or surface) can I print on?

• Matte bond paper, 150gsm - ideal for low density and line work
• Satin polypropylene, 300gsm - a water-resistant non-tear durable stock, perfect for long-lasting beautiful graphics
• Gloss photo paper, 220gsm - ideal for photographic reproductions
• Canvas - for that special piece
• Banner material - for full-colour banners
• Gloss photo paper, polypropylene( reinforced satin finish ) or matte paper are all the same price.

Do I need lamination?

We can gloss or matte laminate your poster if needed but under most circumstances it won't be required. Our inks are water-resistant and UV-resistant; team that with stocks like the satin polypropylene, which is also waterproof and tear-proof, and you have a solid, long-lasting poster.

If you are framing your print professionally, we recommend talking to your framer in advance - in most cases lamination will alter the picture's effect under glass.

What is the biggest size I can print?

Our machine is 1300mm wide and all media comes on a roll at least 50m long. However, if you need it even longer that is not a problem. We can therefore cater to all standard poster sizes and everything in between.

What options do I have in finishing my print?

For presentation purposes we offer a mounting service on to lightweight 5mm Foamcore - this is ideal when travelling. We can also organise canvas frame wrapping, block mounting and other finishing services.
